On behalf of Leinster Bowling Club, the Charity Day organising committee would like to thank everyone who took part in the games on Friday 3 April and supported our raffle so enthusiastically on the day. We would also like to thank those who could not attend and who generously donated money and prizes for the raffle. After covering all expenses for the day, we topped up the funds to bring the total to a fantastic sum of €2,000. The charity we chose to support this year was AWARE Ireland. AWARE is a national Irish mental health charity that provides free support, education, and information services for people affected by depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and related mood conditions. We presented the cheque to Drew Flood and Annette Byrne from AWARE Fund Raising Committee.
