The finals of the Club Competitions were played over the weekend Saturday/Sunday 24/25 September. The weather was cold but dry on both days. The Competitions Directors, Robbie and Mary did an excellent job running the competitions and scheduling matches over the two days. The standard of bowling was excellent throughout the competitions. Two of the more entertaining matches took place on Sunday afternoon, the Ladies Championship Singles between Mary Kenny and Anne O’Herlihy and the Ladies Junior Singles between new members Lynn Killen and Audrey Cafolla. It was “tit for tat” until the last end.
