It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of our much loved & respected member Vera McCarthy. Vera was a long time member of Leinster Bowling Club, she was an accomplished bowler and contributed greatly to the success of the Ladies Section of the Club. Vera’s death was unexpected, she passed away peacefully at St. Vincents Hospital on Monday 29 January surrounded by her loving family. Vera’s many friends at Leinster send their condolence to her daughters Veronica and Rebecca, her sons Dermot, Seán, Derek & Joseph and her extended family and friends and share in their loss at this time. Vera is predeceased by her husband Jack (past President of Leinster Bowling Club), her daughter Pauline and son Patrick. May she Rest In Peace.
Reposing on Thursday (February 1) at the Carnegie Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown (A94 XK28) from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (February 2) at 10am in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin.
