The Winter Social Competitions 2017/18 which are run from October to March have now concluded. The competitions were managed by Ron Prince and Pat MacDonagh.
The results are as follows:
Wednesday Rinks: Winner – Deirdre McCulloch , 2nd – Michael Cavanagh, 3rd – Jerry Kelly.
Friday Triples: Winner – Margaret Meehan, 2nd – Tony Fitzpatrick, 3rd – Lorcan Finn.
A splendid buffet was provided in the Bar, courtesy of our lady members.
Our President, Lorcan Finn, assisted by Ron Prince presented prizes and all present received an Easter Egg. Pat MacDonagh thanked all those who participated in the Winter Social Competitions especially the Winter Members from other clubs for their support and invited them to join us again for 2018/19 season. Pat made a presentation to Ron in recognition for his work in running the Winter Social Bowling over many years and those present showed their appreciation. Ron will not be with the club next year due to other commitments.
