Margaret was lured to Leinster Bowling Club last Saturday afternoon (28/05/16) by a member of her family on the pretext that her grandchildren wanted to see a bowling match. However, there were no matches on the day and Margaret was redirected to the bar where her extended family, neighbours and her many friends in Leinster were waiting to surprise her.
Margaret, looking radiant was quickly surrounded by her children & grandchildren and her brother Pete. Later in the evening, Margaret’s family invited the guests to join them for a meal in the Function Room. On completion of the meal, Margaret was presented with a large birthday cake. Margaret then thanked her family for organising the surprise party and she thanked her friends who came along to celebrate the event with them.
Lady Captain, Pat MacDonagh thanked Margaret & family on behalf of the quests and made a presentation to Margaret. Congratulations Margaret, we all had a most pleasant and enjoyable evening.
