The annual Morton Cup competition played between the ladies of Kenilworth and Leinster Bowling Clubs was played in Leinster this year. Leinster won the competition by a single shot in a thrilling encounter.
The cup was first presented by W.H. Morton from Kenilworth in 1944 in recognition of the proximity and links between the two clubs. The single match competition is played annually in alternate clubs.
