Dates for Your Diary – March 2024
Wednesday 13th & Thursday 14th March. Over 50’s show in RDS.
The ILB have a stand at this to recruit new members for all bowling clubs. This will be followed up by 2 open days on Wednesday 20th and 27th March in Leinster and a few other clubs from 2.00 p.m. until 4.00 p.m. Development Committee looking after these dates, coaches welcome to help out on the day.
Tuesday 19th March Last evening league matches.@ 7pm. Refreshments and Prize giving in the Bar after matches.
Thursday 21st March @ 11am
Clean up of the bowing green and surrounds, all members are asked to give a hand.
Thursday 21st ILB AGM in Crumlin at 7.30 p.m.
Friday 22nd March @ 7.30pm
Leinster Cricket Club AGM in the function room in the main Clubhouse. Bowlers are asked to attend.
Saturday 23rd March @ 3pm
Unfurling in Leinster and Final of the Paul Smyth Trophy competition. Refreshments and presentation of prizes in the bar afterwards. Everyone invited.
Sunday 24th March @ 11am
Play-off for 3rd/4th place in the Novices League Leinster v Greystones. Please support our team.
Tuesday 26th March @ 7pm Pre-season meeting for all bowlers
Wednesday 27th March
Buffet for Wednesday and Friday leagues finish.
Friday 29th March
Charity Day, Bowling sessions in the morning and afternoon. 10.30 a.m or 2.30 p.m . €5 entry fee. Proceeds in aid of Our Lady’s Hospice..
Saturday 30th March at 1.00 p.m.
ILB Unfurling followed by a match between Leinster members and the executive of the ILB. Dinner at 4.00 p.m. in main function room.
Members who wish to play on the day please put your name on the sheet on noticeboard.
Championship entries have to be in by Monday 1st April.
