It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of our dearly loved & much respected member Robbie Meany. Robbie was a long time member of Leinster Bowling Club, he was an accomplished bowler and contributed greatly to the success of the Club. Robbie held many positions in the club including Club Captain and President. In recent years Robbie suffered from poor health but he never complained, kept smiling and played his beloved game of bowls. On the 10th January 2025, Robbie passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff in Tallaght University Hospital. Robbie was a true gentleman and will be greatly missed by his many friends in Leinster and in the greater bowling community where he was highly regarded. Robbie’s many friends at Leinster send their condolence to his brothers Paul and Michael and their families and friends and share in their loss at this time. May he Rest In Peace.
