The Crumlin/Leinster Open Tournament was hosted this year by Crumlin Bowling Club. The event which took place over 7 days concluded with the finals played on Sunday 9 August at Crumlin B.C. Much credit for the success of the event is due to the Tournament Controller John Leonard and Tournament Organiser Mary Kenny and the tournament committees at both clubs who worked tirelessly to ensure its success. Bowling throughout the week and particularly in the semi-finals & finals was of a very high standard and a joy to watch. Leinster President Annette Finn assisted the John & Mary in dispensing prized. There was a good attendance at this event and the fine warm day made it more enjoyable.
