President Jack McCarthy R.I.P.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of our much loved & respected President, Jack McCarthy. Jack was a member of Leinster Bowling Club for almost 30 years and was a gentleman both on and off the bowling green. Jack held the presidency on two previous occasions, 2002 – 2004 & 2010, he was also a coach at the club. Apart from his involvement in the game of lawn bowls, Jack was an accomplished artist, fisherman and gardener. Jack’s many friends at Leinster send their condolence to his beloved wife Vera and family and share in their loss at this time. May he Rest in Peace.
