The annual day out for the Rathmines Senior Citizens took place at Leinster on Monday 1st. September. The event was hosted by the Community Gardai from Rathmines, Gerry Hogarty and Brendan O’Byrne.
Members of the Bowling club were present to show the Seniors the basics of the game. However the Seniors made their own rules and they seemed to have enjoyed the experience. Later they retired to the Bar where the Gardai provided them with refreshments and entertainment.
