The final for the Paul Smyth Trophy 2025 was held in Leinster Bowling Club on Sunday 29 March. The finalists were Maura Donovan (Leinster) & Jimmy Lyons (Crumlin) v Paul Smyth (Crumlin) & Steve McGrane (Crumlin). The match was played in a friendly manner on a very cold afternoon. Paul and Steve had a decisive win over their opponents. Great credit is due to Anne Fitzgerald the Tournament Director for an excellent job well done. Refreshments were served in the Bowlers Pavilion and President Annette Finn presented prizes to the following:
Margaret Hand, Ray Moore, Catherine Clarke & Rolf Kohlmann runners-up in the semi-finals.
Maura Donovan & Jimmy Lyons, runners-up in the Paul Smyth Trophy.
Paul Smyth & Steve McGrane, winners of the Paul Smyth Trophy.
President Annette also presented Paul Smyth with a basket of flowers for his wife Eileen. Annette thanked all who participated in the competition and Tournament Director Anne Fitzgerald.
