The unfurling of the flag ceremony took place at Leinster on Sunday 12 April 2014. The President Pat Kenny welcomed the members and outlined the success of the Club over the Winter months in the Indoor Bowling League and the Winter League Competitions. He thanked the members who participated in these competitions and in the Winter Social Bowling Competitions on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The President invited the Ladies Captain Kitty Roberts and the Mens Captain Robert Meany to raise the flag and roll the symbolic first bowls of the Summer Season.
The President presented a bouquet of flowers to the Lady Captain and this was followed by a friendly match between the ladies and the men. The evening concluded with tea and sandwiches in the Pavilion.
