The Winter Social Bowling Christmas Buffet & Prize Giving was held on Wednesday 14 December at Leinster. This event concludes the first session of the WSB matches, the second of the 8 week competitions will commence on Wednesday 4 January 2017. Winter membership for the period 1 January to 31 March 2017 is available to Bowlers from other clubs for a fee of €50. Many thanks to Ron Prince who organised and ran the competitions and to Pat MacDonagh, Tony Fitzpatrick and Arthur McMullen for their assistance.
The buffet was held in the Bar courtesy of our lady members Pat MacDonagh, Alice McMullen, Marie Fitzpatrick, Mary Keating, Margaret Kelly, Mary Kenny & Agnes Gillick. Prizes were awarded to the top 15 places in each competition, James Walker was the winner of the Rinks Competition and to Phelim Hamill won the Triples Competition. President Jack McCarthy assisted by Ron Prince dispensed the prizes.
