On behalf of Leinster Bowling Club, the Charity Day organising committee would like to thank everyone who took part in the games on Friday 29th March and supported our raffle so enthusiastically on the day. We would also like to thank those who could not attend and who generously donated money and prizes for the raffle. After covering all expenses for the day, we topped up the funds to bring the total to a fantastic sum of €2,000. The charity we chose to support this year was the Hospice in Harolds Cross which does fantastic work for the community. We presented the cheque last Wednesday to Susie Cunningham from the Hospice Fund Raising Committee.
