Unfurling the Flag at Leinster, 2024.

The annual unfurling the flag ceremony was held at Leinster on Saturday afternoon 23 March 2024.

The President, Annette Finn & Lady Captain, Mary Kelly unfurled the club flag and raised it high on the flagpole, to symbolise the official opening of the Summer Bowling Season 2024. Annette  welcomed the members and wished them a successful and enjoyable bowling season ahead, she thanked the many sub-committees for their work throughout the year and in particular the Development Committee for the many new members they brought to the club. Annette and Mary then rolled the symbolic first woods of the season.

The unfurling ceremony was followed by the final for the Paul Smyth Trophy (separate report) and afterwards the members retired to the bar for much appreciated refreshments.
