Today Saturday 13 April 2024, 30 plus members of the “Walk for Fitness & Socials 50’s” group visited Leinster to try their hand at lawn bowls. Members from Leinster were on
hand to provide coaching and assistance and in a short time there was great banter across all four rings. The two hour session was interrupted mid way by a heavy rain shower
which sent all for shelter to the Club House. In the Club House the group was welcomed by Leinster Bowling Club President Annette Finn and were treated to tea/coffee and a fine
selection of cakes and scones compliments of the Leinster ladies. Play resumed in bright sunshine and continued until 2.00pm. The group enjoyed their 2 hour bowling session
and expressed their gratitude to the Leinster members.
