Leinster Bowling Club held a bowling competition & raffle on Friday 1 April in support of the Laura Lynn Foundation in their fundraising effort.

Laura Lynn is Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice providing palliative care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

This charity bowling event was supported by members of Leinster Bowling Club and members from other clubs who join Leinster for the Winter Bowling Season.

Such was the support for this event that it was necessary to run morning and afternoon bowling sessions.

The event organiser was Pat MacDonagh. Leinster President Anne O’Herlihy addressed the competitors as did Mary McDaid from the Laura Lynn Foundation.

Ms McDaid outlined the work of her foundation and the continuous need for fund raising to support that work. She thanked the Leinster organisers and all involved in the event for their support.

On Friday 29 April, President Anne O’Herlihy, Mary Kenny & Pat MacDonagh presented a cheque for € 1,500 to Paul McBride at the Laura Lynn Hospice in Leopardstown Dublin 18.
