The Annual Dinner & Presentations event was held in the Function Room in Leinster Bowling Club on Friday 2 November 2022. There was a good attendance of members and guests.

President Anne O’Herlihy welcomed all and promised a surprise event later in the evening, she wished all “bon appetit” and dinner was served.

After dinner Anne made presentations to the following:

Outgoing Ladies Captain, Mary Kenny.

Outgoing Men’s Captain, Robbie Meany.

Person of the Year, Robin Bailey.

Anne paid tribute to both outgoing captains for their hard work and dedication to the club over many years.

Robin Bailey was awarded “Person of the Year” for his work on the Development committee which has attracted a significant number of new members to the club.

Robbie Meany in his capacity as Club Captain made presentations to:

Mary Kenny  –  Lady Bowler of the Year.

Paul Smyth  –  Mens Bowler of the Year.

Mary Kenny (Club Lotto Organiser) presented a cheque to the weeks Lotto winner, Philip Kelly.

President Anne then revealed her surprise of the evening, a demonstration in Ballroom Dancing. Anne and her dance partner and three other couples provided a lovely evening of dance entertainment to the delight of all present.

A good night was had by all.
